Is it almost Monday already?
What a weekend I had - even though it isn't quite finished yet.
1. Saturday consisted of doing a big grocery shop, buying a load of paint, doing 4 loads of washing, taking the dogs for a long walk, sorting out a load of photos to make calendars for christmas presents, chatting to a friend who called round with my birthday present and then a night making a wedding album from scratch for my childminder's. I haven't finished that but I made the album, printed off the photos, matted them and put them onto the pages. I now have to add embelishments and wording and finish it off.
2. Sunday - I took the dogs out for another long walk as the weather was beautiful. I needed wellies but it meant I could walk anywhere with them. they just got hosed down when we got back and dried off in the garden. I put out more washing, cleaned the whole house after Mick had finished decorating the hall, stairs and landing and threw a casserole in the oven. We got out some pictures from the loft so we could change them around a bit - we have loads of lovely pictures but not enough walls to hang them on.
I'm now waiting for the pinger on the oven to tell me it's time to put the potatoes and veg on, set the table and wait for MIL/FIL to arrive for dinner.
and then I'm going to sit and do nothing. Well I may go do some more on the album but then again I may just have a long bath and play with my i phone.

I had a really busy weekend too. Not only did OhCountess work yesterday, but she did come home a little early...seems she's got pneumonia. I'm actually looking forward to getting back to work tomorrow.
Oh wow, what a weekend! You forgot to include blogging on your list of activities.
I did not do half of what you did and i'm exhausted!
Not a regular dipper in to your blog and have only just seen Meet My Man item 15. And.....
It's a self revelatory tale
From the spouse of an unhappy male
Who must live out his life
With his flatulent wife
Inadvertently blowing a Gail.
Ick, major laundry! Do you dry it outside, or in a dryer? How did the visit with your in-laws go?
Justine ;o )
Oh captain - I hate being home with ill people. they get on my nerves with all that coughing and spluttering and 'woe is me-ness'.
Raxx - only a little blogging - as you can tell by my 'oh so interesting' post!
Nonnymouse - I love that poem - did you make that up yourself??
Justine - it all went outside (blows the dog hairs off!)
and the dinner went fine - just the usual pantomime of lost memories and repetition.
you should cater to your sick people instead of making fun of their woe is me attitude, it will pay dividends for you in the future
Putz - so where are they when I'm half dead with sickness and trying to keep clothes on their backs and food in their mouths?
Haven't you got a lawn to mow or something?
